A little help? Please

    This fall I am spending a semester volunteering with International Language Program (ILP).  Although there is a chance the location could change, right now I am scheduled to teach English in Cholula, Mexico. 

   The ability to speak English fluently is a great benefit to the children of Mexico, as well as their families.  It gives them the opportunity to seek better employment and adjust to the ever changing world. Since many of the children I will be teaching come from low-income families, I'm responsible for my own expenses while I am living in Mexico.   I am also responsible for bringing school supplies for the children with me.

   Over the next four months, I am looking for ways that I can volunteer my time working in exchange for donations to ILP in my name. Either donations of money or school supplies will be appreciated.  

   ILP is an IRS qualified 501(c)(3) charitable organization, any funds you donate are tax-deductible. If you have any questions about the program, please do not hesitate to contact me or ILP at (801) 374-8854. 

   I am a Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructor/Lifeguard. I've been teaching swim lessons for the past three years and love it.  I have had good success with reluctant to competitive ready swimmers. I have won National awards for both photography and design. I am proficient in Photoshop and InDesign, and a variety of other editing software.   Currently I'm pursuing a degree from BYU in Advertise Design. I have been babysitting since I was twelve.  I have 6 younger brothers and sisters, and lots of practical experience.  I can provide excellent references.

    * Paint/Strip Wallpaper

    * Clean House/Scrub Bathrooms

    * File/Organize Papers

    

    I am widely available until Memorial Day when I begin full-time, tuition earning employment at the Troy Aquatic Center.  After Memorial Day I will be available most evenings (except Tuesdays) and on Saturdays.  I can be available on Sundays if you need a weekend of childcare, or pet/house sitting.
