Temple Square

On Friday, My roommates, me and some people from my ward when to Temple Square to see the lights. It was so gorgeous! It totally made it feel like Christmas. It just made me happy. The best part of the night was going back to Mikelle's house for hot chocolate and chili. It was so nice to be in a really house again. I can't wait to go home. 

We were waiting for the rest of our group, so we decided to spread some Christmas cheer with the help of a street performer

cloud nine

I LOVE ADVERTISING!!!!!! Today was the big day and everything went perfectly. I don't think that I can look at cereal for the rest of my life though. It such a seen of accomplishment to see others react to your work. I'm floating on cloud nine right now with not a care in the world. I just can't stop smiling. I'm soooooo happy. Now I just have to crack down and finish out the semester.

Sundays

I basically love Sundays. Everything is so calm and peaceful. It such a blessing to have a day set aside to dedicate to the Lord.

Ashley, Brad and I went on a drive up the canyon after church today. We ended up stopping at Deer Creek and skipping rock. Super amounts of fun. Brad was the winner with 8 skips.

Cereality

For my Intro to Advertising class, we have spend the whole semester putting together a Ad campaign for Cereality. It has been super stressful. We had to do a TON of research before even coming up with the ads. Here is a results. Click on the pic to see a bigger image.

Thanksgiving Photoshoot

Getting to Logan

So for Thanksgiving, I when with Ashley to her grandparents home in Logan. We had an adventure getting there. It was smooth sailing until we where an hour and a half away from Provo. Ashley's car, a super cute '92 white Honda Accord started shaking. We pulled off the in Layton. Freakin' out I call my Dad to see what we should do. His advice was to call my home teachers, not understanding that we where not in Provo. We then realized that there was a car shop just accross the street. After a four hour wait, we pulled out of Layton with new spark plugs. We arrived (safely) in Logan six hours after leaving Provo.

Friday Night

On Friday, Team Canada, Ashley and I went up to SLC to watch the Utah High School Football State Championship game. It was a super good game, it came down to the last 30-seconds. I think that the highlight of the night was riding the TRAX. I love Ashley, we can make total fools of ourselves in public and still be okay with it.

Being sleep deprived makes you do dumb things

We made Pazookies, which are basically the best thing in the whole wide world. You take cookie dough and you bake it. The key is that you pull it out of the oven while it is still gooey. Then top with vanilla bean ice cream.

We then proceeded to play shot glass checkers with lemon and lime juice. I love going to school with a bunch of Mormons. We come up with creative way to have fun without alcohol.

Ashley's Birthday Bonfire

On Saturday it was my roommate Ashley's birthday. To celebrate we had a bunch of people over for cake then we headed up the canyon for a bonfire. I love bonfires. I love getting all bundled up , hanging out with good friends and roasting marshmallows over the campfire, but most of all I love the smell that lingers with you for days.
