Happy Halloween!
I have a love/hate relationship with Halloween. I love wearing a costume and spend time with friends. I love candy and Halloween Parties. All this said, I hate anything scary.
Plans for today:
Babysit for Matyas
Take News Writing Test
Out to Dinner w/ Friends
Stake Dance
Bonfire
For my costume, I glued a bunch of coins on to a t-shirt and I'm "The Change We Can Believe In."
My friend Chris took these pictures, despite the fact that he is a HUGE McCain supporter.

News Release
My Dad found a news release that he had written when I was born ( He sent it out to friends and family). It kind of fun. He was even so kind to tie a pink ribbon in the corner.
BABY GIRL FOR JOHANSSON FAMILY
A healthy baby girl was born to Joan and Jack Johansson September 19, 1989 at 1:08 MST. The as-yet-unnamed girl was 8 pounds, 7 ounces and 22 inches long at birth.
Labor was almost pleasant for Joan, as drugs played a major role in the birthing process. Jack was present, but bravely chose not to watch the birth. The new parents held their first child immediately after the birth, "She was alert and looking around, she seemed to be as happy to be out of me, as I was to have her out," says Joan.
Dr. Maurice D.W. Baker examined the baby and pronounced her perfectly healthy. She was born with a full head of brown hair and long fingers. Jack says the baby "is intense, when she sleeps she sleeps, when she eats she eats, and when she cries she cries."
There was concern in the Johansson family, as Jack was out of town, receiving a scholarship from the Radio-Television News Directors Association until Sunday afternoon, but was home in plenty of time for the Tuesday birth.
Naming the baby has been an issue; Jack likes "Ann Arkie Johansson," Joan hates it. Joan says she looks like a "Lauren," Jack agrees, but doesn't like the name. Joan and Jack like "Liverpool Ann Johansson" but both sets of grandparents quickly vetoed it. Jack's mother, who teaches school in Michigan is running a "Name the Baby Contest" with her pupils. Joan says "'Victoria Liverpool' is the strongest contender at the moment, but we are still soliciting suggestions."
Good Job Dad! Only a few AP errors.

Its Official
I'm the worst bowler EVER!!!
Last night, my roommate Ashley and I went bowling with some of her friends. One game I scored 26 points and the other I scored 44 points. I got 7 gutter balls in a row. Alex did give me some lessons. I think that they helped a little.

True Blue
On Wedensday BYUSA sprayed a bunch of blue foam on Helaman field and let a bunch of college kids play in it for Homecoming. The results? A massive amounts of fun, blue elbows for the next week, and a blue spot on our coach.

For the Record
I'm Swedish. I grew up celebrating St. Lucia Day and big fish dinners. Christmas decorations consisted of straw goats, Swedish Flag garlands and red dala horses. When I was little I was bitter of all the colorful bulbs that my friends put on their trees. But now that I have grown a foot I absolutely love it!
So the name of my blog "Livet är Vackert" means Life is Beautiful in Swedish. I love every onuce of Swedish blood that runs through me! and life is so beautiful!

Football Games and Friends!
I love football games, they are so much fun! It makes me so happy just to be at the stadium. Its full of excitement. Nothing screams college like a football game. Today we won against the New Mexico Lobos. It was super cold, so everyone looked cute holding hot chocolate and bundled up. I love winter clothes!

Liverpool
I love this picture. It is of my Dad on his mission. The best part is the scarf. For those who don't know my parents met on their missions to Manchester, England. My Dad always jokes that there mission was liberal and allowed dating. My Mom thought that my Dad was obnoxious (Which he was). While serving their favorite area was Liverpool, which is how I got my middle name. It was going to be my first name, but them my Granny payed them $50 not too. I told the story to my professor from England, so now she calls me Liv. I love having it was a middle name. I think that I'm going to name one of my childern Liv. I love the heritage that comes with the name.
