are they getting married?

another fabulous weekend. I spent time with some fun people. 

Thursday: Drove up to Rexburg to hang out with Kayci. 

Friday: Bajios, Drove down to SLC, saw Melissa and family, Ikea, Art Fest, Gateway, Diet Coke on the Captial Steps

Saturday: Fabric Store, Horchata, avoiding cleaning my room, Manti Pageant, Football and Frisbee

Sunday: Church, Roommate Time, arts and crafts, and the Gathering (aka Desert and Flirt...trust me I got my flirt on)

At the pageant on Saturday, A little boy yelled out in the middle of the show "Are they getting married?" about the actors. Fabulous. Marie gave me a bloody noise as we fought over fruit snacks.

Salt Lake City. 

I just realized that there is a ton of culture in SLC. The city is pretty hip, filled with arts, beats and eats. Now only if Provo was that way.

the worst spidermare EVER

And I went home and it was wonderful. Unlike Utah, Michigan is home to the coolest store ever. Moosejaw. Everyone should follow them on twitter. Giveaways, witty comments and sales. Anyways...On Monday, I got a twit from them saying the first person that goes into their Rochester Hills store and yells "I had the worst spidermare last night" won a sweet backpack. Needless to say, I jumped in my mom's swagger wagon and hurried over. I really wish that I had to fight off crowds for people, but I didn't. So I had to settle with fighting with the manager. I won.

Southwest Airlines--We are breaking up. I don't care that you let me bring two suitcases on or that you are cheap. I'm sick of mean ticket agents, layovers, delayed flights, no costumer service, old terminals and B-boarding passes. Most of all I'm sick of Chicago.

queen of the trailer park

Today I mowed the lawn...Its my favorite job in the world. Exercise and work together. Perfect. I have to say I was looking mighty classy. I had a bandana in my hair (to keep the sweat off my face), a pair of crocs (willing to sacrifice them to the grass stains, not willing to sacrifice my TOMS), a pair of fake, flower ray bans, a bright blue tank top and spandex (God's gift to the world.) I timed the mowing perfectly, right as all of the high schoolers came off the bus. I got some looks and whistles. It made me feel hott. My Dad came out on his way to work and told me that I looked like "the queen of the trailer park." That's right, Joy Farrah Darville Hickey Turner, I de-throned you. And looked mighty fine while doing so.

I come home to find my little brother sitting on the couch sucking lemonade through a squeeze bottle that Mom uses to put sweet n' sour sauce in.

LJ: "Jackers--What the heck!"

JJ: "Mom says that we can't put lemonade in a water bottle and I can't have cups on the coach."

LJ: "Smart thinking little bro."

airport thoughts

I felt so cool pulling out my new laptop at the security check point. 

EFY kids have even infiltrated the airport...I can't get away from them. 

Thanks to Scott I'm hooked on Jay-Z and Coldplay mashups. 

I'm super excited for Jack Johnson in August. 

I've out grown my moosejaw phase and have moved on to v-necks and spandx. I had to call my mother and give her the heads up.

All of my freshmen ward friends are getting home from missions. Weird. 

I forgot my portfolio. 

I'm leaving the worst possible week ever. 

I can't wait for a salt bagel and being woken up by my little bros. 

My new goal is to make a stop motion video. 

I'm so happy to being going home.

and I'll be home. According to my little brother, we are going to eat Five Guys every night and go to the zoo three times. According to my Mother, We are going to take family pictures. This is my cousin. 

Her name is Kayci. She is one of my best friends. We always have too much fun together and eat In-N-Out together. 

We are going to see CAKE together on June 19th. I'm kinda of excited. 

Favorite Kayci story...She had come from California to visit me at school. We got bored on Sunday night so we had a dance party and played "High School Musical Date Night." Simple joy.
